Training Course for Bunka no Tsuyaku “Daruma and Japanese Culture/Manners” was held on January 17th (Fri.), 2025.
For this lecture, we invited Ms. Maeda as an instructor and made colorful Daruma using felt.
Fourteen people of various nationalities participated, all skillfully sewing felt with embroidery needles.
Each Daruma has a different expression, completing an original Daruma.
Daruma was once popularized to ward off disease.
Since influenza is currently prevalent, please take precautions against infection such as washing hands, gargling, and wearing masks.
