Gunma Prefecture keeps track of the number of COVID-19 infections reported per fixed-point medical institution per week.
The number of influenza cases in the Tatebayashi Public Health Center, which includes Oizumi-machi, decreased to 11.22 from January 1 to January 7, 2024 (Week 1) and 9.67 from January 8 to January 14 (Week 2), but increased to 14.11 from January 15 to January 21 (Week 3).
The number of COVID-19 infections doubled from the previous week: 3.56 cases from January 1 to January 7 (Week 1), 5.89 cases from January 8 to January 14 (Week 2), and 12.00 cases from January 15 to January 21 (Week 3).
We ask that all town residents continue to take basic infection control measures such as ventilation, hand washing, and wearing masks as appropriate for the situation as well as avoiding going out when you are sick.
