We offer wedding services at the Oizumi Town Hall Council Chambers.
When we have conducted this service in the past, it has been very well received by both the person himself/herself and those who attended the ceremony.
For couples who, for various reasons, have not yet held their wedding, we invite you to create a different kind of memory.
Wedding at the Town Assembly Hall
Details
In the presence of the mayor, ceremonies and commemorative photos related to the wedding ceremony will be held.
Date & Time
Weekdays during each of the following period, from 17:15 to 20:00 on the day of your choice (limited to one pair per day, each session will last 30 minutes).
However, due to the holding of special assemblies, etc., the schedule may be adjusted even after the application is received.
- July 1st (Mon.) ~ August 30th (Fri.), 2024
- October 1st (Tue.) ~ November 29th (Fri.), 2024
- January 6th (Mon.) ~ February 28th (Fri.), 2025
Wedding form
The basic format is a public ceremony. Please consult with us for other form.
Application method
At least 20 days prior to the date the couple or representative wishes to implement the program, submit the application form together with identification documents for both applicants to the Strategic Planning Division (Counter No. 17 on the 2nd floor) in person
or by postal mail.
Photocopies of identification documents submitted by mail are acceptable, but the originals will be verified at a later date.
Application period
From May 10 (Friday), 2024 to January 31 (Friday), 2025
Eligibility
Persons who meet all of the following requirements 1 through 3 (including those who have taken the partnership oath in place of a marriage certificate)
- The marriage certificate must have been submitted by the date of application.
- At least one of the couple must be listed in the Basic Resident Registry of the town at the time the marriage registration is submitted.
- After submitting the marriage certificate, the couple must be listed as the same household in the Basic Resident Registry of this town.
Attendees
Family members and relatives of both sides of the family (up to 10 people) and friends and acquaintances (up to 20 people)
Fee
There is no fee for both applicants and attendees.
Commemorative gift
Participating couples will receive a commemorative gift from the town.
