Thank you very much for the many votes cast in the “Oizumi Town Mascot Character General Election!
On the occasion of the birth of the official mascot character, we will hold an unveiling event open to everyone in cooperation with the Oraka Junior Chamber of Commerce, as an opportunity to let as many people as possible know about the character.
Oizumi Town Official Mascot Character Birthday Commemoration/Oraka Festival

December 10th (Sunday), 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
(In case of rain, the event will be postponed to December 17th (Sunday), 2023.
If the event cannot be held on December 17 (Sunday), 2023, it will be canceled.

- Drone Air Show (begins at 5:00 p.m.)
LED-equipped drones will draw mascot characters!
Please look forward to the announcement! - Kitchen Car Stalls (11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
A variety of gourmet foods will be available for purchase. - Handmade Marché (11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Handmade goods will be on sale and workshops will be held. - Stage Performance (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm)
Stage performances will be held by local groups, including dances and musical performances. - Original PET Bottle Lantern Making Workshop (11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
A workshop for making original PET bottle lanterns to decorate Fun-Town Illumination 2023 will be held during the Handmade Marche. - Fun-Town Illumination 2023
This will be the fifth implementation of the illumination, which will be turned on in conjunction with the Oraka Festival.- Lighting period: December 10 (Sunday), 2023, frommission the end of the Drone Air Show until January 27, 2024 (if the event is postponed, lighting starts from December 17 (Sunday))
- Lighting hours: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Temporary parking lot
On the day of the event, the No. 3 and No. 5 parking lots of Panasonic Corporation will be available as temporary parking lots for visitors.
The bus stop of the wide-area public bus “AOZORA” will be moved on the day of the event
Due to this event, the bus stop will be temporarily moved outside the town hall grounds.
We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding and cooperation.
