Online Course “Training Course for Promoting Stable Employment of Foreign Residents

The Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), a general incorporated foundation, will hold the “Training Program to Support Employment and Settlement of Foreigners” as a project commissioned by the Ministry of Health, labor and Welfare to assist foreign nationals seeking work in Japan to acquire Japanese language skills and find stable jobs.

You can register for the online course starting in June.

Residency status

Permanent resident, spouse of a Japanese national, etc., spouses of permanent residents, etc., permanent residents., etc.

Course

An orientation will be held at the beginning of the training for a detailed schedule.

Level 1

This course is for those who are learning Japanese for the first time, or those who can speak some Japanese but have difficulty in reading and writing hiragana and katakana.

Level 2Flyer(English, Chinese, Vietnamese)

This course is for those who can read and write Hiragana and Katakana and have studied Japanese for a while. This course is for those who can communicate in simple Japanese in daily life.

Level 3

This course is for those who can read and write hiragana, katakana and simple kanji and can converse to some extent in daily life. Let’s further develop your ability to speak in the workplace according to the situation and the other person.

Note

  • You will receive an e-mail from JICE to take the written level check test.
     You must take the test within the specified period or you will not be able to receive training.
  • Courses with a large number of applications may be accepted early.
  • Course duration is subject to change.                        

Conditions for taking the online course

  • Please take the call at your own home or in a quiet place where you can make your voice heard.
  • You will have to bear the internet communication expense yourself.                                         More than 30 GB of internet communication capacity is required per month.
     So, please check your cell phone or home Wi-Fi contract.                                                                 You cannot use Wi-Fi at convenience stores and cafes to take these courses.
  • Please do not allow other people to use your PC, tablet, or smartphone during the time you are   receiving the training. You can take the test on your smartphone, but we recommend using a PC   or tablet.
  • Information about the level check test, etc. will be sent to you by e-mail.
     Please make sure that you can receive e-mails from the domain “@softbank.ne.jp”.

Application

You can apply at Hello Work in Gunma Prefecture.Zairyu card 

You will need to bring a photo and your Zairyu card or passport.
