Bunka-no-Tsuyaku (Cultural Interpreter Training Course) “Origami and Japanese Culture / Manners Workshop” was held on May 26th (Friday)
Inviting members of the Yui no Ie Craft Group as instructors, we folded hydrangeas (Ajisai) with origami.
The 16 foreigners who participated in the event learned how to fold gaku and leaves, and they chose their favorite color and folded the gaku to create their own works of art, some in shades similar to the real thing and others in colorful hydrangeas (Ajisai)
