On July 15 (Friday), 2022, “Workshop to make an original wind chime and Japanese Culture and Manners” was held as Training course for Bunka no Tsuyaku.
For this lecture, Ms. Teiko Kizuki of “Yamanekoya” was invited as an instructor, and participants experienced painting wind chimes using acrylic paint.
Although they struggled with acrylic paints, which they rarely use, each of the 12 foreigners who participated in this event created colorful wind chimes full of their own individuality.
Since ｗind chimes are not so familiar to foreigners, we hope that the wind chimes we made this time will be displayed in their rooms and help them get in touch with the unique Japanese culture.
