As a livelihood support program, special benefits will be provided for households who are rearing a child between the ages of 0 and 18 years. Those who were able to receive the “Jido-Teate (Child Allowance)” for September 2021 will receive a notice to that effect by mid-December. In this case, you do not need to apply. For other people who meet the conditions for benefits, application forms will be sent out after late December 2021, and applications will be accepted from mid-January 2022.
Oizumi Town has decided to provide 100,000 yen in cash at a time.
Eligible Children
- Children who are eligible for the “Jido-Teate (Child Allowance)” for September 2021 : No application is required.
- Children who were born between April 2nd, 2003 and April 1st, 2006 and are being reared by their guardians (The guardian’s income in 2020 (the highest income of the guardians) must be less than the amount eligible for the “Jido-Teate (Child Allowance)” : You need to apply.
- Children who were born between October 1st, 2021 and March 31st, 2022 and are eligible for the “Jido-Teate (Child Allowance)” : You need to apply.
Recipients
Recipients of “Jido-Teate (Child Allowance)” of eligible children, or its equivalent (those who have the highest income to support their livelihood among the guardians)
Recipients and children not covered
- Recipients of Tokurei Kyufu (Special Benefit)
- Recipients who moved into the town on or after October 1st, 2021 (These recipients will receive a notice from the municipality that paid the “Jido-Teate (Child Allowance)” for September.)

Benefit Payment Account
The benefit will be transferred to the bank account where the “Jido-Teate (Child Allowance)” was paid in October 2021.
If you have cancelled the bank account, please go through the procedure to change your account.
If you wish to decline to receive the benefit, please notify us by December 20, 2021.
